Tiffany Gallegos Whitley

Director of Workforce Initiatives

Tiffany Gallegos Whitley is Director of Workforce Initiatives. She has called Waco home for the past 12 years. She is a two-time Baylor University graduate, receiving a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a Master of Social Work degree.

In between undergraduate and graduate school, Tiffany worked with the Texas Hunger Initiative, helping communities organize around food security issues. She became passionate about community development and decided to root herself in Waco.

Prior to joining Prosper Waco, Tiffany worked for 5½ years at Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries, where she oversaw building strategic community and business partnerships to further Goodwill’s job training and education programs. During her time at Goodwill, she also helped implement the Waco Employer Resource Network, a renowned national model of skills training and job retention for incumbent workers.

In her role as Director of Workforce Initiatives, Tiffany will oversee workforce projects that bring together key stakeholders to collaborate and continue building equitable training and career pathways for all McLennan County residents. She loves the intersection of social work and business and is excited to bring her workforce development experience and long-standing love of data to the Prosper Waco team.

In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys reading books and caring for her massive amount of plants. She is a proud graduate of the Leadership Plenty Institute and still enjoys connecting with the people she met in her cohort. She also loves scheming and dreaming home projects with her husband and trying to keep up with her busy two-year-old toddler.
