Inspiring Change

The Prosper Waco Summit is a unique opportunity for advocates, professionals, and community leaders to come together, get inspired, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the Waco community.

On Thursday, October 24, 2024, over 250 leaders from nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors came together to learn and get inspired about the opportunities and challenges in the Waco Community. We had an amazing agenda centered on behavioral health, food insecurity, engaging opportunity youth, creating a teacher pipeline, and workforce development. We were able to host a variety of speakers ranging from the National League of Cities CEO and Executive Director, Clarence Anthony, and US Congressman Pete Sessions to local experts like Dr. Jackson Griggs, CEO of Waco Family Medicine, and Dr. Jeremy Everett, Executive Director of Baylor Collaborative on Health and Poverty.

We are deeply grateful for all our speakers, panelists, sponsors, and of course our attendees that made the 2024 Prosper Waco Summit a day to remember. We look forward to seeing you again at the next Summit in 2026!

The 2024 Prosper Waco Summit brought together over 250 leaders from nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors. Our attendees were able to make lasting connections and learn from industry experts in behavioral health, education, workforce development, food insecurity, and engaging opportunity youth.

Inspiration

In our fantastic lineup of local and nationally recognized speakers, time and again we were reminded that Waco is at the precipice of making great change. We certainly feel inspired and equipped by this week's speakers from the innovative ideas and strategies held at our presentations and panel discussions.
