TFNB Your Bank for Life shared photos of the ribbon cutting at the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute for a new exhibit called “Sit down to TAKE A STAND.” TFNB said on Facebook they have partnered "with many community organizations in building bridges across cultural gaps. This is something that can be experienced without an admission ticket, and tells the stories of those brave individuals that stood up for civil rights through sit-ins at lunch counters in the 60’s." Dexter Hall, Prosper Waco's chief of staff, is seen helping with the scissors for this important opening. To learn about the exhibit visit https://drpeppermuseum.com/lunch-counter/ and be on the look out for Waco History 's podcast recorded at this opening last Saturday.
