Alternative teaching effort transitions

Mia O'Suji (left) and Christopher Reid (right) gathered with the Prosper Waco staff July 15 for some icy treats. Reid and O'Suji are with the Center for Transforming Alternative Preparation Pathways, and July 15 was their last day on the PW staff as their work is expanding statewide. CTAPP will continue to work with Prosper Way, McLennan Community College, and Waco and LaVega ISDs to improve teacher preparation. Prosper Waco CEO Suzii Paynter March explained some white board storytelling. The staff said goodbye to its 2003 microwave oven, which is older than PW, and staff members wrote what they were doing in 2003. PW has great age diversity on its staff, and the storytelling helped express that strength.
