The Prosper Waco Community Engagement Council hosted a community discussion event in East Waco on Dec. 1, at the multi-purpose facility on Quinn Campus. About 25 East Waco community members brought their own ideas to the table on how strategies will or won’t work in their neighborhoods. One idea that was brought up was the idea of creating a childcare facility in East Waco that would operate throughout the night, because some parents in that specific neighborhood work night shifts.
