The 2016 CHNA is available for the public to read and look at what the data says about the current health state in McLennan County.
The survey was funded by Baylor University, Waco-McLennan County Public Health District, Providence Healthcare Network and Baylor Scott & White- Hillcrest. The survey was conducted by Baylor University’s Center for Community Research and Development. Researchers interviewed 1,150 adults across McLennan County and conducted focus groups and interviews with local experts.
The CHNA results are vital to the Prosper Waco initiative and will help inform the work of community partners addressing the health goals. “It reaffirms the work we’re doing with Prosper Waco,” Brett Esrock, President and CEO of Providence Healthcare Network. “This was a great collaboration with the community.”
